The Muse

The Muse is Half Moon Bay High School's literary magazine that accepts visual art, including photography and digital art, and all types of writing.

Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of students without the author's/artist's name attached. Each student will have no more than one piece of writing and one visual piece published in The Muse each year.

Submission Guidelines

Please submit no more than three pieces. Use 12 point Times New Roman font and 1.15 spacing. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO NAME OR IDENTIFYING INFORMATION OF ANY KIND ON YOUR DOCUMENT! Each student may submit up to three things to The Muse each year. We recommend submissions be under 1500 words.
