HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS: CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL COACHING EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAM: EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN – EC 35791 and 35179.4

The Cabrillo Unified School District is committed to protecting all students in its care. In the event of a sudden cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies, including concussion and heat illness or other medical emergency, an action plan has been developed. Click on the links below to see action plans in case of an emergency at a specific venue on camps:

HMBHS is very proud of our Athletics program and its long-standing success. The program's strength is built from the dedication of our student-athletes and the incredible support of our parents and community. Of last year's total school enrollment of 983 (49% female, 50% male, less than 1% non-binary), 512 students participated in HMBHS Athletics. 49% of our student-athletes are female and 50% are male. HMBHS Athletics offer a variety of sports that meet our students' interests.

All student-athletes will complete the athletic clearance packet online. Please visit Home Campus to login or create a new profile.

You will need to complete the process for EACH sport your student-athlete is participating in, but remember that their physical is good for one calendar year.  Also note that the physical must be completed and signed by a licensed medical doctor and in order to complete the process, your signed physical form must be uploaded to the student’s profile.
